The functionality Exstora Pro has to offer comes in handy in a variety of situations. When you quickly need to write something down, you can use the application to create a note; later on you can sort and organize your notes the way you see fit. If you must ensure you do not forget about an important event or to-do, you can use the application to create reminders. If you need to stay on top of RSS feeds and on top of a list of contacts, you can use the Exstora Pro application to manage RSS and ATOM feeds as well as a list of contacts. And last but not least, if you need to keep a diary of your life, you can do that as well with Exstora Pro.

The Exstora Pro installation file isn’t even 1MB in size. Such a lightweight file will download in little time, even if you have to contend with a lousy internet connection. A setup wizard will show up when you run the aforementioned file. This wizard will guide you through the steps you need to take to get Exstora Pro up and running. Just like with the download, you will spend little time on the installation process.

From top to bottom, you will see the following panes on the Exstora Pro interface: a calendar, a pane that presents your events/to-dos/diary entries/contacts, a pane that presents your RSS or Atom feeds and your notes. By default, this easy to figure out interface uses the Coffee + Milk color scheme. There are several other color schemes that you can access from the Settings menu.

As mentioned above, Exstora Pro is an application that covers the following: note taking, diary keeping, contacts managing, RSS and Atom feeds, calendar, events and to-dos. Use it to take notes, to subscribe to RSS and Atom feeds, to create notifications for events and to-dos, to keep a diary, and to manage a list of contacts. You have 30 days at your disposal to use Exstora Pro for free and uncover all the functionality it has to offer. When this trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application. If you don’t want to do that, you can switch to the free Exstora edition – but please note that it doesn’t have as many features to offer. A detailed comparison chart is available on the application’s official website.

With Exstora Pro, you can easily do a lot of things: take notes, keep a diary, set up events, manage RSS feeds, and more.

Pros

Getting Exstora Pro up and running takes little time and effort. There are several color schemes to choose from for the interface. Use the application to take notes, subscribe to RSS and Atom feeds, manage contacts, keep a diary, create events and to-dos. Back up and sync Exstora Pro data. Export events and notes. There are two editions to choose from: Exstora Pro and Exstora Freeware.

Cons

Free to use for 30 days, limited functionality in the trial, nag screen.
